What is The Allan Handelman Show all about?
My most requested guests and topics involve dozens of subjects including the underground movement, UFO's, cover-ups, the Paranormal and lots more. I track down the hard to get guests. When big names appear on the show, We usually get them to reveal fascinating things they thought they would never say. Guests enjoy the experience so much they often appear on the show during periods they stop doing interviews. Past examples of this include Frank Zappa, Letterman, The Stones and AC/DC.
The Allan Handelman Show is difficult to explain on paper. I sometimes use the term "Rock-Talk" to describe what is essentially a talk show for Rock Radio. It's not filler or boring public affairs programming! Its not another syndicated interview show that only features bands each week.
Why Sunday night?
Most Rock listeners would rather hear music on the radio. They partied all weekend and no doubt played their music loud. By Sunday night, with school or work on their mind, people are a little down. It's the best night for a Rock listener to hear a little less music and fill that special void with relevant talk. Talk that's compelling to the Rock Culture. On The Allan Handelman Show you will hear Rock listeners explore subjects relevant to their Culture. Subjects not expressed on any other Talk Show I know of. The bottom line is that it's fun!
